By replacing monolithic mirrors with a coordinated ring of smaller optics, a light modulator, and an advanced coding architecture, PAIS computationally reconstructs ultra-high-resolution imagery from a 1.0-meter equivalent-aperture payload. Designed to fly on low-cost microsatellites in LEO, this breakthrough delivers sub-30cm imagery at constellation scale—doubling achievable resolution while drastically cutting system cost and complexity.
