When Remondo emerged from stealth earlier this year, our goal was simple: introduce a new way to think about high-resolution, low cost Earth observation. Since then, the response from the space, defense and technology communities has been both encouraging and humbling.
Over the past several months, Remondo has received a series of industry awards and recognitions spanning the geospatial intelligence, space technology, venture capital and financial communities. While each award comes from a different audience, they share a common theme: growing interest in technologies that can deliver high-resolution imagery at constellation scale without the cost and complexity of traditional satellite architectures.
These recognitions reinforce what we’ve believed since founding the company in 2022. CEO Ido Priel states it so succinctly: “Governments, security organizations and commercial entities alike shouldn’t have to choose between resolution and affordability. We built Remondo to fundamentally change the paradigm by delivering ultra-high resolution imagery payloads at a cost point that enables revisit persistence and scale.”
Recognized by TheMarker as a Standout Technology Achievement
One of the most notable recent recognitions came from TheMarker, Israel’s leading financial and technology publication. Often compared to a combination of Bloomberg, The Economist, and DealBook, TheMarker is known for identifying emerging companies with the potential to reshape major industries.
As part of its 2026 Startup Challenge, TheMarker highlighted Remondo as a company tackling one of the most technically demanding challenges in the space sector: delivering ultra-high-resolution satellite imagery with economics that support large-scale deployment. Read the article here.
The publication pointed to the company’s PAIS architecture and its potential to enable constellations of smaller satellites capable of delivering both high-resolution imagery and rapid revisit rates. The feature also highlighted the strength of Remondo’s optics and engineering teams and the growing global demand for sovereign Earth observation capabilities.
For a company still in the early stages of commercialization, being recognized alongside many of Israel’s most promising technology ventures is a meaningful milestone. Israel has long been recognized as a global center for aerospace, defense and advanced engineering, making the recognition especially rewarding for our team.
Selected for The Tech CFO Forum
Remondo was also selected as a featured company at The Tech CFO Forum, an invitation-only gathering hosted by TheMarker and Poalim Tech.
The event brings together CFOs, investors and financial leaders from across Israel’s innovation ecosystem to discuss emerging technology trends and investment opportunities.
Our participation reflected growing interest from the financial community in deep-tech companies developing long-term strategic infrastructure and defense technologies. As Earth observation becomes increasingly important to both governments and commercial users, investors are paying closer attention to companies building the next generation of space-based capabilities.
Building Off of a Strong Debut at DGI London
The momentum began in February at DGI London, where Remondo officially emerged from stealth and introduced its Partial Aperture Imaging System (PAIS) optical payload, 1-meter imaging architecture, and upcoming constellation plans.
During the conference’s Dragon’s Den competition, Remondo was awarded Best Startup Technology after presentations and evaluation by a panel of industry experts and an audience composed largely of geospatial intelligence professionals.
What made the recognition particularly significant was the audience itself. The event brought together many of the people responsible for evaluating and deploying Earth observation capabilities across government and commercial sectors. Their support suggested that the industry’s need for a different approach to imaging is both real and immediate.
Validation for a Growing Market Need
While awards are never the objective, they often provide insight into where an industry is headed. Across defense, intelligence and commercial markets, organizations are seeking more persistent coverage, higher revisit rates and better economics from space-based imaging systems. Traditional approaches have delivered exceptional performance, but often at costs that limit scalability.
Remondo’s PAIS architecture was designed to address these challenges head-on – a step function increase in capabilities, resulting in high-resolution imagery from microsatellite platforms that can be deployed at constellation scale.
As governments around the world invest in sovereign space capabilities and commercial users demand more frequent Earth observation data, we believe these requirements will only continue to grow.
Since our public launch in February, we’ve been grateful for the support we’ve received from customers, investors, partners and the broader space community. These recognitions belong to the engineers, scientists and operators who have spent years developing and validating the technology behind Remondo. They also reflect the growing excitement surrounding breakthrough approaches to Earth observation and the opportunities they create.
We’re still at the beginning of the journey, with our first two on-orbit demonstrations scheduled for 2027 and new partnerships taking shape around the world (more on that soon!). The industry response so far has been encouraging, and we’re excited to continue building the future of scalable, ultra-high-resolution Earth observation.
